JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the management/development, delivery and verification of a comprehensive training and competence assessment programme meeting the needs of the business and ensuring training & assessment is carried out in accordance with rules and company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for ensuring training & assessments meets the requirements of the sentinel scheme policy for track safety training providers to include: verification, delivery, evaluation of training & assessments plans and training delivery
Responsible for meeting Achilles audit requirements for training & assessment
Design & deliver appropriate and cost effective assessment, training and development solutions
Evaluate and respond to feedback
Assist in maintaining partnerships with customers and suppliers
Support the change programme by developing & delivering training and assessment products and services
Support the internal and external recruitment process through the use of appropriate assessment tools
Design and deliver effective induction training
Implement an internal verification programme
Mentor and develop staff

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Essential
City & Guilds 7331 Certificate and/or Certificate in Training Practice
A1/A2, V1 Qualifications - Able to train in a full range of competencies to ES level
HRD experience supported by occupational workplace practice
A 4 year record of work in an on-track environment
