The University has previously outsourced its catering service and the service has recently been brought in-house.   We are currently re-modelling the new in-house service to ensure that we have the infrastructure to deliver a first class catering service across the university.   This has led to the newly created post of Catering Operations Manager; the post is based both at Paisley and Ayr campuses with regular travel to Hamilton and Dumfries campuses, the post holder will have overall responsibility for the development of the service across all sites.

You will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to staff within the catering services team ensuring their ongoing development and by doing so delivering a consistently high quality of professional service to key stakeholders and clients, whilst ensuring strong financial performance. You will be committed to delivering excellence in the student experience. 

You will have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification, with a proven track record of success within the food services sector, with experience of managing a sizeable catering operation.  You will have the tenacity and drive to further develop the catering service within the university.
