Our client is currently recruiting an accounts assistant for their busy team. The role will be a 12 month fixed term contract and will be covering maternity leave. The person will be going off on maternity leave in August so they want to interview in the coming weeks to get a good handover in place.

The job will involve all aspects of working in a busy finance team, including:

Maintaining purchase ledger
Matching, batching and coding invoices
Maintaining sales ledger
Creating debtors reports
Dealing with all aspects of credit control
General cashiering duties

Our client will be looking for someone with experience in a similar role
Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Excel is essential
Previous experience of using Sage or SAP would be an advantage
