Where possible, the preferred method for applying for this post is online. Based at Back Sneddon Centre, Back Sneddon Street, Paisley. You will be a highly motivated, committed individual who will work as part of a multidisciplinary team lead by the Integrated Alcohol Team Leader which provides a range of services to individuals and their families experiencing alcohol related problems. You will establish links with other agencies and professionals in relation to both joint working and to promote the work of the team.

You will support clients with a range of complex needs to encourage lifestyle change and improve outcomes. Experience of working with individuals with substance misuse is essential for the post as well as good communication skills, an ability to prioritise workload and sound assessment skills.

You must have a relevant Social Work qualification (DipSW, CQSW or equivalent) and be registered with the SSSC or other appropriate Social Care Regulatory Body.
This position is covered by The Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 (“the PVG Act”) and has been designated as carrying out regulated work with a child or protected adult under the terms of the Act. Consequently individuals who are named on the Disqualified from Working with Children/Adults Lists will commit an offence if they apply for this post and may face prosecution.
