Search Accountancy are working with a well known and reputed manufacturing company in the Lanarkshire area who are looking to recruit a Qualified Finance Manager. You will be fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ICAS and will have ideally worked in a manufacturing environment before. You will be managing a small team and working very closely with other operational units ensuring adherence to controls and governance. You will closely monitor each divisions spend and make sure that there is a focus on reducing waste and maximising profitability.

This position reports directly to the Head of Finance and the main duties will include

  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts including commentaries
  • Monthly budget and P+L management
  • Forecasting and quarterly re forecasting
  • Managing a team of 4
  • Liaising with operational managers to ensure budget adherence
  • Ensure all areas of finance are in accordance to regulations and the correct controls are in place
  • Attending monthly senior management meetings

    • This is an exciting and forward thinking organisation where you will be very involved in the commercial running and day to day management of the business. You will have a strong accounting background and will have had good exposure to large projects. I would be very keen to see CV's from candidates that have a PRINCE2 Qualification.
