Technical Sales Representative

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious sales person to join the UK- Ireland Division of this award-winning business that is a market leader in the development and supply of innovative diagnostic test kits for the food and agricultural industries.

The above role will be based at our European Headquarters in Ayr, reporting to the Divisional Manager for UK and Ireland. 

 The main features of the role are:

• To create new business opportunities and develop existing business opportunities within South East England
• To promote our range of food diagnostic solutions within South East England
• To provide first class customer service, training and technical support to our customers
• Maintain customer databases
• Compile customer reports
• The role requires around 40% of your time to be spent out in the field.  When not in the field you will be expected to work from the Company European Headquarters in Ayr

Skills/Experience/Qualifications required:

• Previous sales experience in technical sales/or food related sales
• Life Science, food related or other technical degree
• Hold a current clean driving licence & flexible to travel within UK
• Excellent communication (Verbal & Written) skills
• Highly motivated, driven individual
• Excellent organisation skills
• Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge
