Cost Accountant Broxburn   £35000 per annum

Eden Scott's client is looking to recruit a Cost Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate is accountable for the ongoing analysis of inventory costing, project costing and margin analysis.

Duties will include;
*Tracing costs back to underlying activities
*Provide appropriate level of costing information to management
*Data collection for cost accounting system
*Create and review the costs
*Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts
*Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues
*Review and update standard costs
*Validate the costs of goods as part of month end
*Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required
*Prepare detailed accounts analysis and reconcile costs
*Assist in month end close
*Analyse on capital budgeting requests

Experience required;
*Part qualified is preferred (ACCA, CIMA, CA)
*Degree qualified is essential
*Excellent analysis
*Ability to collaborate with a multi department team
*Experience with large company ERP systems
