Product Specialist - 9 month temporary - Excellent day rates

This global investment brand is currently sourcing for an accomplished Product Manager/Specialist to join their team in Glasgow for a 9 month period. My client is renowned for releasing creative and all-encompassing propositions to market and has a reputation for excellent investment management.

The Investment Marketing team has responsibility for developing and delivering investment strategy across a range of investments and products for its clients ina predominantly online environment. The role holder will be responsible for the strategic development of my clients offering

Specifically, the role of Product Specialist will involve:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of product strategy by managing the delivery of new product lines and taking responsibility for product positioning
  • Carrying out reviews to pre-empt and solve issues related to new product launches and existing product lines
  • Gathering, Preparing and Reporting on MI to ensure valued market insight is given regarding the product line
  • Monitor portfolio and competitor performance
  • Contribute to enhancements of product collateral, distribution channels (particularly online) and provide comment to internal and external audiences

    • My client is a FTSE100 company and places within the business are highly sought after so to be considered for the role you must have the following:

  • Solid product management experience ideally with exposure to managing investment products
  • Demonstrable experience of constructing product strategy
  • Excellent understanding of the online environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to get people 'on-side'
