In this role the ideal candidate would provide support to a new project our client is currently working on which will deliver change to our client's complex IT and Telephony infrastructure.
As Programme Management Support you would be expected to:
Support, facilitate and monitor the progress of programme's across the client's business.
Support performance improvement with respect to project and programme delivery by providing internal consultancy on project management and facilitate delivery of continuous and quality improvement techniques across our client's business.
Continually review and manage programmes in place within the business.
As directed by your line manager, manage corporate and project staff as required implement and deliver agreed activity in line with programme plans. This would involve professional use of project management disciplines, ensuring the achievement of agreed costs and benefits.
Work with strategic project stakeholders to successfully drive and manage substantial change through best practice project management framework t deliver outcomes to required level of quality, on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate would also have to create and maintain adequate databases and programme plans using computerised systems in order to provide up to date, relevant and accurate information for all parties through using MS Office and MS Project.
The ideal candidate would be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience of project and portfolio management. A qualification such as PRINCE 2 would also be desirable.
At least 5 years complex project or programme experience at project manager/programme manager level would give the candidate a greater chance of success within this role as would expert knowledge or project and programme methodologies.
