The Role:

Due to our client taking on a new exciting project, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Contract Quality Engineer to join the team, initially for a 6 month period, with the posibility of going on longer or turning permenent. The role will involve playing a key role in creating a new audit system and the continuous responsibility for the overall quality system involved in product release, batch record reviews and non-conformance reviews.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Understand the process and documentation flow for the current products

Ensure all batch records reviewed according to process

Ensure all batches are released compliantly and on times

Improve the compliance within the organisation

Ensure Investigations and correction/preventive actions are effective by providing reviews, feedback and improvement suggestions

Play a key role in manufacturing and general QA support

Training on Quality System processes

Conduct Internal and external audits

Maintain quality and improve system processes

The Candidate:

Should have relevant experience within a comparable environment.

Will hold knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance requirements within a medical device or pharmaceutical environment

Will be able to demonstrate confidence and influence at all levels in the organisation

Should be a trained internal and external auditor
