Covering a number of sectors, they are responsible for the design, build, manage, operation and maintenance of assets that are vital to the delivery of many key public services, both in the UK and overseas.

The Role
The main purpose of the role is to lead assigned engineering teams on the delivery of projects. Responsibilities will include executing engineering governance on projects for electrical engineering activities across the Business Unit, including technical approval of deliverables; Identify and convert business opportunities within Electrical Engineering sector; Candidate identification and selection in recruitment of professional Electrical Engineers.


The Candidate
The successful candidate is likely to have a degree level Electrical Engineering qualification with significant experience in marine electrical engineering design (commercial and naval) including ship and submarine systems. Previous experience acting as a Design Authority is required as is experience managing and motivating professional engineering teams.
