Head of Marketing
My Glasgow based client is seeking applications for a Head of Marketing vacancy. The successful candidate will obtain overall leadership of the marketing function ensuring the achievement of the agreed profit target through the creation, development and execution of the marketing strategy and multi-media marketing campaigns.
Duties will include:
Creating a strategic Marketing Plan in line with the brand strategy set by the Managing Director.
Delivering revenue targets for all marketing campaigns.
Responsible for the marketing budget, ensuring all expenditure is monitored and directed to deliver results.
Overseeing the production of the core marketing materials i.e. events, promotions, partnerships, press and online advertising. Devising and delivering online marketing activity.
Delivering relevant reports with complete performance metrics and results analysis demonstrating ROI.
Responsible for the management of external agencies.
Developing internal and external communications (PR) strategy. Working with the key internal and external partners to support the seeking and securing of additional Marketing contribution funds from suppliers and tourism authorities to deliver mutually beneficial marketing campaigns.
Candidates should have several years of marketing experience in a B2B environment. You will have strong communication and leadership skills, along with the ability to manage budgets and work to achieve challenging objectives. Experience of media planning and print production as well as strong online marketing skills is preferred.
