Our client are a global manufacturer of specialist engineered products who are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience of Solidworks 3D solid modelling.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager your remit will involve developing new products from concept, design calculations, the creation of complex mechanical and assembly drawings, maintaining existing product designs to ISO9001 and providing technical support to the sales team. Working as part of a small design team, you will have at least 5 years design experience within an engineering environment.
You will be qualified to Degree level minimum in Mechanical Engineering, and have a sound understanding of modern manufacturing techniques including die casting, sheet metal fabrications and machining.
