HR Consultancy currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Tax Manager with an established firm in Glasgow. The role offers the opportunity for career progression with a fantastic salary package. Ideally you will hold the CTA or ATT qualification or be a fully ACCA or CA qualified accountant. Applications will be accepted from experienced Tax Seniors looking to progress to the next level.
Key Responsibilities;
- Managing your own portfolio of Mixed Tax clients
- Liaising and assisting with Senior Manager and Partners on larger clients
- The role will involve both compliance and consultancy work
- Ensure all compliance procedures are maintained and followed
- Maintain all client records to an accurate and high standard
- Assist Senior team members on a variety of technical matters
- Regularly liaise and assist Senior Team members in business development activities
You must:
- Ideally be fully CTA/ATT qualified or fully ACCA/CA qualified
- Hold strong track record of Tax compliance experience
- Strong Team player
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Ambitious and keen to develop
