Job Description

Weekly Earnings: £175.75 per week
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: 2 posts at Transport Garage, Kilwinning
Duration: 3 Years
What is the Role? To assist in the maintenance of the Council's public utility vehicles and plant including non-fleet vehicles, plant and ground-care equipment inspected or maintained by the Council.

What will you do?

Servicing, diagnostic inspection and repair of defects in light and heavy vehicles, plant and power engine units. Preparation and submission of vehicles for Ministry of Transport testing.



What do you need to bring to the Role?

3 standard grades at level 3 or above, core skills at Intermediate 1, enthusiastic, willing to take instruction, prepared to commit to learning and manual dexterity (aptitude test will be part of selection process).
