PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST HAVE EITHER A STRONG SALES MANGER OR INSURANCE MANAGER BACKGROUND TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.
The main responsibility in this role will be to directly manage a team of internal brokers and administrators who maintain and set up new policies for insurance clients.
You will effectively manage all people issues against the prevailing Group Strategy and take personal responsibility for creating a working environment that will promote high levels of employee performance, engagement and motivation.
It will be your responsibility to:
Ensure the effective performance review of all employees assigned to you, ensuring that clear annual objectives are set, monitored and reviewed in accordance with annual requirements.
Ensure that all employees assigned to you have a realistic and achievable personal development plan.
Ensure the effective management of all employee relations issues including the active management of under-performance, inappropriate behaviour or conduct, absence and other aspects of the employee life cycle as they arise.
The successful candidate will have:
A proven track record in people management and development of individuals
A proven track record in KPI performance management
A proven track record of achieving measurable improvements in key processes
Ability to analyse performance data and to prepare and deliver management reports
Ability to construct a budget and manage revenue, WIP, costs and debt
