Cycling Officer, East Dunbartonshire

£20,574 - £23,028 per annum

(dependent on relevant skills and experience)

 37.5 hours per week – 3-year contract - based in Kirkintilloch

The main responsibilities of this role will include the promotion of cycling at selected primary and secondary schools (primarily aimed at 9 – 14 year old girls), supporting ‘school champions’, harnessing local authority resources and making links between schools, external partners and the bicycle industry.

Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent and committed to cycling and the promotion of sustainable transport, you will have experience of working with children and young people, excellent communication and presentation skills, be IT literate and have the ability to motivate others.  Experience of partnership working is also essential.  Membership of the PVG Scheme is mandatory for this post.
