My client based in Paisley is currently looking for a GIS & Land management Officer for a period of 3 - 6months starting ASAP. You would need to hold or go through a Basic Disclosure for this position.
The post holder will provide technical support and assistance to the Corporate Landlord Team in the development and maintenance of my clients corporate information service, ensuring the ready availability of necessary information to support the corporate asset plan, the needs of directors in general and Housing and Property Services in particular

Support and assist the work of the Corporate Landlord Team in strategic property asset management at corporate and service levels, in pursuit of best value for money from property assets in support of the goals and objectives of the services.
Support and assist in the development and maintenance of corporate property asset information policies, systems, processes and practices (including land ownership and disposal enquires)
Proactive collection, collation and analysis of a wide range of corporate property and financial data (via existing corporate information systems) to support the economical, efficient and effective use of property assets.
Digitisation of land ownership information and the maintenance of a map based land register.

Essential:
HNC in a Property of IT Related Field
At least 2 years experience within a property related field using contemporary software systems or GIS
Knowledge of property asset management issues and efficiency measures.
Ability to undertake site surveys and measurement.
