Health and Safety:

Development of safe systems of work (work instructions, risk assessments, chemical risk assessments, etc) to cover all operations.

Assisting Operations develop, write and review HSEQ procedures, policies, work instructions.

Ensure management system has relevant provisions to demonstrate compliance with all applicable regulations, codes of practice etc.

Ensure that all HSE incidents, accidents and near misses are reported in a timely manner, investigated and suitable actions implemented to prevent reoccurrence.

Undertake health and safety audits and inspections both onshore and offshore.

Assist in the continued development of a safety culture within the Company.

Assist Operations in the development of Client specific HSE Plans, KPI’s, objectives and targets and perform regular audits and reviews to measure compliance.

Quality:

Responsible for the continued implementation of the quality management system in accordance with ISO9001.

Undertake internal quality audits for Operations.

Carry out critical vendor audits and assist in the evaluation of critical vendors and contractors on behalf of Operations.

Assist Operations to ensure that all NCR’s/CAPA’s are reported in a timely manner, investigated and suitable actions implemented to prevent reoccurrence.

Assist Operations in the development of client specific Quality plans, KPI’s, objectives and targets and perform regular audits and reviews to monitor compliance.

Environmental:

Support/oversee the implementation of the ISO 14001 standard for Operations.

Develop project/Client-specific environmental procedures in conjunction with the Environmental Advisor and Operations HSEQ Manager.

Communicate and liaise with Clients and environmental regulators in conjunction with the Environmental Advisor and Operations HSEQ Manager.

Undertake environmental audits, including with sub-contractors.

Liaise with clients, regulators and other third parties

Attend planned client meetings and workshops for HSEQ matters and deal with client queries regarding HSEQ including attendance at HSEQ review meetings, morning calls etc. where required.

Support the ongoing certification of management system through participation in third party audits.

Develop/support HSEQ initiatives, goals, objectives and targets in association with clients

Liaise with relevant regional industry regulators.

Participate in client and other third party audits as required.

Comply with Procedures:

Ensure Operations comply with Company and Client operating policies and procedures.

Ensure all operations comply with the Company Health and Safety policy as defined in the Company handbook.

Be aware of company conditions of employment as detailed in the Employee Handbook.

Keep up to date with other current legislation, legal requirements and regulations that apply to the company.
