Responsibilities will involve:
Render advice, guidance and information on HSE matters including existing and proposed legislation, ACOP's and COP's, industry standards etc.
Monitor company activities for compliance with the Company's Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental management system. Compliance being measured against appropriate legislation, ACOP's and COP's and ISO standards.
Ensure all non-conformances, defects and deficiencies relating to HS&E management system are promptly reported, properly recorded and satisfactory corrective and/or preventative action has been taken.
Regularly monitor and review the Company's Quality & Safety Management Systems performance.
Promote a positive safety culture throughout the Company.
Support other members of the QHS&E department in the fulfilment of their duties and responsibilities.
Liaise with external bodies such as enforcing authorities, legislative agencies, industry organisations, standards authorities etc.
Scheduling and performance of internal audits of offshore and onshore worksites, and external audits of subcontractors.
Assist the development and implementation of HSE systems for all projects and business activities.
Monitor and advise on geographical legislative requirements.
Chairmanship and review on hazard and risk assessments including FMEA, etc as required.
Participate in accident/incident/near miss investigations and reporting, together with the implementation of recommendations and corrective actions where required.
Identification of trends regarding the recurrence of accidents/incidents/near misses and provides guidance to improve performance.
Co-ordinate HS&E enquiries and reports from the worksites as required.
Experience / Background:
Experience as an Oil & Gas industry HSE professional including offshore experience and knowledge of marine, well intervention and diving activities.
NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level IV OSH
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
ISM Lead Auditor
ISO 14001 Auditor
Incident Investigation Team Leader (e.g. Tap Root, Topset etc)
OIM Legislation
Lifting Operations
Marine Operations
Well Intervention
Diving Operations
