Mechanical Systems / Marine Engineer Dunfermline

You will have a challenging and rewarding role and will be responsible for managing all aspects of design and development of marine structures

You will have a broad range of duties and responsibilities which will include;

(a) Development of marine system P & Ids, machinery layouts, equipment and material specifications

(b) Development of marine systems to meet all requirements in terms of cost, quality and delivery

(c) Preparation of marine engineering sections

(d) Pipework system design, material and equipment specifications for submission and approval by the client and classification society

(e) Specifying and requisitioning the main and auxiliary machinery and designing the associated systems fitted on naval and merchant ships

You will currently be or recently have been a Marine Engineer with experience in design and development of marine and offshore structures and systems. You will be able to demonstrate proven experience in design from first principles including carrying out all relevant calculations utilising a range of proprietary systems analysis software.
