KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To monitor and support HSEQ performance within the Company on an ongoing basis and to identify any areas that may require improvement and to issue ‘actions’ through audits or other communication methods to generate improvement.
To monitor HSEQ controls, processes and systems to ensure up to date information is available to all employees as required.
To undertake annual audits as required by the approved standards and as documented on the Audit Plan and expectations and to raise corrective actions where non-conformance is identified.
To suggest or propose improvement for safe working practices.
Liaise as required with Clients and / or Vendor HSEQ personnel for feed back and suggestions to improve Company capabilities and performance.
To communicate with employees on HSEQ and process issues and to provided HSEQ assistance where requested.
To monitor the defined accountability for HSEQ as documented within all employees Job Descriptions.
To assist in the preparation for HSEQ training courses for identified staff.
To assist in: HSEQ Employee Induction and Training Program for all new employees and to ensure that their responsibilities under the H & S at Work Act 1994 are known and implemented as required.
To assist in the preparation for bi-monthly Safety Meetings with emphasis on raising safety awareness for personnel.
To assist employees in the preparation with HSEQ documentation, i.e. Risk and COSHH and Manual Handling.
Assist the HSEQ Manager in the cost effective running of the HSEQ Department.
Communication and Information
Participate in internal HSEQ meetings and attend as requested relevant external Client Interface Meetings, Forums and Conferences.
Assist in the communication process to advise staff of relevant standard and legislative updates which are applicable to their work scope.
Undertake or assist in Internal and External Audits, to raise reports, log and to monitor any actions raised to closeout as required.
To assist in the raising and monitoring of NCR’s and Service Improvement’s etc, and to ensure that they are documented correctly, monitored and followed up and closed out.
To assist in the compilation of HSEQ Statistics for meetings, Tenders and 3rd party / Clients audits.

To help develop and maintain the Company’s integrated HSEQ Management Systems.
To assist in the development of HSEQ information for: Pre-Qal’s, Tenders and Proposals.
Assist in the development of controls to ensure that performance targets are achieved.
Conduct Internal and External Audits and to raise and log applicable documentation before issue to Auditees.
Co-ordinate and maintain records of Company HSEQ Statistics as required by Company, Legislative and client requirements.
Promote safe working practices within the work place.
Assist in the management of: ISO 18001 – 1999, SCC, ISO 14001 - 2004, and ISO 9001 - 2000.
