Our client are a global engineering company with an excellent reputation. They are currently looking to recruit an Asset Performance Engineer with Rotating Equipment (Pumps, compressors, turbines). The role can either be based in East Kilbride or Aberdeen.

This role is designed to lead the management of specific Maintenance contracts with focus on the management and co-ordination of repair and engineering activities on behalf of the client. Management will include: coordination of repairs through workshops, spare part supply, 3rd party (spares, service) supply and management of client engineering requirements. The role requires regular communication and reporting to the client.

Overall responsibility for administration and management of the contracts;

Identify value-added support services for clients focused on reliability centred maintenance, including opportunities for reducing equipment total cost of ownership for client, critical spares review, upgrades;

Develop/ maintain Key Account Plan for each contract in line with company format.

Develop and implement account growth strategy with hub management.

Work seamlessly to promote interdepartmental teamwork within company across multiple sites.

Produce 3-monthly rolling financial forecast;

Proactively promote Lean thinking principles within the business

Submission of weekly/quarterly/6 monthly/annual reports (financial and WIP status) to client;

Weekly/monthly internal reporting of contract status and KPI monitoring;

Timely close out of customer complaints and warranty claims;

Ensure company's HSEQ standards and targets achieved.

The candidate will be:

Experienced in Contract/Project engineer;

Have a good working knowledge of the repair and operation of rotating machinery (this is essential);

Experienced in the operation of maintenance contracts;

Excellent levels of customer service;

Experienced in producing plans/strategies based around clients' business drivers and management systems;

Ability to work to deadlines under pressure;

Working knowledge of business finance with respect to profit/loss and managing same;

Excellent IT and communication skills.
