Established, instantly recognisable Dundee based business have a requirement for a Management Accountant to join their finance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts for all areas of the business including the preparation of month end entries. You will play an active role in the preparation of annual budgets and ongoing forecast adjustments and will report into senior finance management.

Duties & responsibilities;

  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of month-end entries such as accruals and journals.
  • Preparation of annual budgets, in liaison with stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts.
  • Preparation and processing of budget and forecast adjustments.
  • Production of various ad-hoc reports e.g. variance analysis
  • Preparation of year end schedules, journals and liaison with auditors.
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial returns.
  • Undertaking the accounting for a number of subsidiaries

    • To be successful in this role you will be in possession of a professional Accountancy qualification or be an experienced passed finalist with;

  • Experience of management accounting and budgeting in a large, complex organisation.
  • Sound, up-to-date technical accounting skills
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate financial information to non-finance specialists
