Electrical Engineer Kilmarnock   £30000 - £32000 per annum

Adecco's client has an excellent opportunity for a permanent Site Electrical Engineer.

Job Role: To provide an electrical service to all areas of the factory including design, installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure continued safe and efficient operation of the equipment alongside the continued progress in improvement activities.

Duties will include:
Design, specify and install electrical equipment and instrumentation to improve operating efficiency.
Provide technical expertise to advise and assist unit electricians, production managers and project engineers.
Analyse the frequency of electrical m/c breakdowns to identify causes of recurring faults carrying out root cause analysis to generate corrective actions to eliminate these faults.
Review of electrical PW system and ensuring that electrical cover is in place to cover all shifts, prioritising work load of electrical resources. Also responsible for the up-skilling of current electrical resources.
Identifying potential m/c and process improvements to existing machinery/processes.
Detail m/c and process specifications for new and existing processes as well as operating and maintenance instructions for said equipment.

Personal Profile: You will be expected to be flexible in outlook and be able to communicate at all levels within the organisation. A team player, with good organisational skills and first class interpersonal skills, in dealing with internal and external customers. Strong in character; with the ability to lead and motivate a team of skilled electricians. Highly organised and able to prioritise own work load with attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience: A minimum of HNC in an electrical engineering discipline, or relevant work experience, is required along with 5 years post qualifying experience within a busy industrial/manufacturing background.
