Credit Controller

Based in Hamilton

The starting salary will be £18000.00 with  a review after 6 months.

The hours of work shall 39 per week 8.30-5.30 Mon to Thurs 8.30-4.30 Friday.There will be a one hour lunch break.

The James Cowie Group require an experienced Credit controller to manage the sales ledgers of the three divisions of the Company.

Steel stock holding,Manufacturing and Engineering.Experience of the building industry would be preferable I,e dealing with valuations and retentions. 

Main duties 

• Chase outstanding debts by telephone,letter and email.
• Produce age debt reports
• Deal with customer queries
• Credit check of new customers
• Cash allocation
• Weekly spread sheets
