The Role:

Due to continued expansion and development within the company, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Systems Engineer to join the Engineering team on a full time permanent basis. The position, based at their site in Fife, offers the successful candidate an opportunity to work with an organisation committed to its employees and be part of a company operating worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance of production machinery DCS / QCS system.
  • Assist in the safe reliable operation of production machine PLC systems.
  • Implement and manage software changes on DCS / QCS and PLC systems.
  • Assist in the implementation of DCS / QCS and PLC replacement and upgrade projects.
  • Assist with compliance activities including with special emphasis on ISO 9002, ISO 14001, CHPQa and internal procedures and standards.
  • Support Manufacturing and Finishing Operations with regard to Safety, Quality and cost reduction Continuous Improvement Projects.
  • Carry out loop Tuning Optimisation and Auditing.
  • Support day to day operations within Manufacturing.
  • Support Site Radiological Supervisor in compliance activities SEPA / HPA.

    • The Candidate:

  • Should have an HNC or equivalent experience within an electrical engineering field
  • Will possess a solid understanding of a manufacturing environment
  • Will have practical experience in control systems, PLCs and general E&I installations
  • Should show a willingness to learn continuously and take on new skills
