Shop Manager Girvan   Circa £20,075 + Commission, Profit Share, Pension, Life Insurance & Staff Discount

This role is all about inspiring the team around you. You'll make sure they're happy, motivated, well-trained – and really passionate about being the best bakery in their area.

It's a varied role. In a day, you could be running an induction for a new team member, liaising with our IT department over some new software for the tills, reviewing the shops monthly performance to try and work out how you can boost it further and working side by side with your team to make, bake and serve the most delicious sandwiches, savouries and snacks around.

Because you'll lead by example, nothing will be too much trouble for your team. From answering customer's questions on ingredients and making sure that everyone's favourite products are always on the shelves, to keeping the shop spotlessly clean and offering a warm welcome, your team will be a credit to you – and themselves.

To join us, you'll need to have supervisory experience, be good with figures and be used to giving customers a really top rate service. (You'll also need to know your way round a computer, and be happy to do a role involving shift work, long periods of standing and a certain amount of lifting and carrying.) Shop Managers work 42 hours per week over 5 days between 7am and 5pm, includes weekends.
