This is ideal for someone looking for an immediate start within a busy office to take over bureau payroll function. The role involves completing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll for a large number of clients. The assistant will be responsible for all aspects of the payroll process, including starters, leavers, SSP, expenses etc. There will also be some accounts duties including preparation of VAT returns, bookkeeping and sole trader accounts. Sage payroll experience would be preferable.
In addition you must have a high attention to detail, ensuring work is completed accurately and within set timescales and have the ability to prioritise workloads. As well as maintaining focused on your own, you will also be required to work alongside other team members on occasion.
