Established and highly successful international manufacturing company are looking to recruit an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their business in the Highlands of Scotland.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Working in either an R&D team or an existing product team you will be working on leading edge products. Within a diverse and highly collaborative team you will be: designing embedded systems hardware using schematic capture and debugging the prototype boards, writing and designing test documentation, reporting and presenting to senior managers and project partners, maintaining effective communication with internal engineering teams - including hardware design team and software teams; participating in determining problems encountered by other project teams through research and experimentation.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Ideally you will be a degree qualified Electrical and Electronic Engineer  with a track record of academic success and significant experience in electronic board level design and hardware debugging of embedded systems, along with excellent communication skills and proven success of interfacing with internal teams, industry professionals, and partners within the likes of aerospace, automotive, communications, defence and  medical sectors. Ideally you will have substantial experience of:  Simulation Experience (P-Spice) along with OrCad Scematic Capture, CCT design and layout experience of low power Micro controller units. Ideally you will be able to write clear requirements along with the ability to utilise risk management tools for project and technical requirements as well as knowledge of semi conductor silicon technology.
