What is the Role? To be responsible for a range of Care at Home Staff and services within a geographical area.
What will you do?
You will organise and manage workloads for staff. This will include arranging staff rota's and ensuring appropriate cover for annual leave etc. You will also ensure that service users are notified of any changes to their current care arrangements to ensure effective service delivery to all service users. You will also manage a devolved Care at Home budget along with the Team Manager. You will organise, arrange, commission and monitor services from companies within Framework agreement, and ensure that the National Care Standards for Care at Home are implemented, monitored and evidenced.
What do you need to bring to the Role?
You will have three standard grade qualifications including English and Maths or equivalent and experience of managing/supervising staff within a Social Care environment. You will have a working knowledge of the needs of Older People, their carers and/or representatives and of the National Care Standards. You will also have an understanding of change management.
