Based in Harris Academy you will be responsible for the maintenance and care of the swimming pool and assisting the teaching staff with swimming activities. The postholder will also be required to provide evening and weekend cover on a rota basis to all school swimming pools throughout the city. This post works an annualised hours basis.

Essential Requirements: Basic secondary education, National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), Amateur Swimming Association - Teachers Certificate/UKCC Level 1 or 2, willing to undertake training to gain Pool Plant Operators Qualification and experience of working with children.
This is a temporary appointment until June 2013.
