Our client is an established world class manufacturing organisation. Specialising in supplying well known house-hold names world wide, they are now looking to further strengthen their production team. Reporting to the Operations Area Leader, responsibilities will include: Manage 2 high speed production lines and a team of between 30 and 60 staff Develop comprehensive improvement plans that support their drive for improved operating costs Implement best practice processes and procedures maximising effectiveness and efficiency Manage the line budget including variable and fixed costs Lead and support line projects and support NPD to ensure ownership transfer is effective Ensure lines are compliant with H&S procedures
Candidates: Ideally qualified to HND / Degree level in a business, engineering or manufacturing qualification Proven manager who can lead, develop and motivate teams Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques Experience working in a FMCG / Packaging environment
