To assist the Social Care Worker in the provision of direct personal care and support to meet the needs of older people within a care setting.
The post holder will contribute to the care plans of individual residents by reporting any relevant information to the Social Care Worker.
The service provided will be compatible with the policies, procedures and standards in line with Council policy.
This will include some laundry and other personal care tasks relevant to the needs of residents.
This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
