Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager for a 9 month contract who will be responsible for accelerating the effective execution of Key Strategic Programmes with particular focus on the Sales and Marketing function.

Responsibilities of the role will include:-

  • Have overall responsibility for the on schedule delivery of key strategic programmes (some at an advanced stage of execution)
  • Act as the main point of contact on all project matters
  • Manage internal relationships and communications throughout the project life-cycle, including regular reporting to the Programme Managers and to the Director of Sales and Marketing
  • Proactively resolve issues / conflict which threaten to impact project timescales and recommend priorities for focus
  • Liaise regularly with the PMO and provide monthly reporting
  • Provide project management expertise and coach Programme Managers as required
  • Make recommendations for improved project management processes to the Exec via the PMO



  • You will have…

  • A track record of project management expertise for the whole project life-cycle
  • Experience of employing a broad and diverse range of project management best practices disciplines, methodologies and tools.
  • Experience of analysing business requirements and creating functional specification documents
  • Able to quickly adapt and flex to changing business priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Act as a leader and be able to influence a range of senior leaders, encouraging and challenging as appropriate
  • Have a sense of urgency and the desire to get things accomplished
  • Be able to hold the big picture and the detailed plan simultaneously
  • Have a sense of humour and a desire to enjoy the journey
