Quality Control Technician & Process Improvement Co-ordinator Dunfermline   £30000 - £32000 per annum

For their Dunfermline Business Unit they have an immediate vacancy for an accomplished QC Technician & Process Improvement Coordinator to work within their Subsea Drilling division.

You will

Deputise for Manager when required
Perform Weld Inspection and RAD interpretation
Review WPS welding specifications
Conduct frequent process Weld monitoring of Welders to maintain Quality
Investigate other Welding applications for industry Best practices
Investigate process improvement opportunities
Maintain RFT quality and customer OTD of cell products
Drive continuous Lean process improvements
Perform internal fabrication workshop audits and support external audits
Identify appropriate weld procedures to be used to team members
Support companies overall objectives (100% OTD, Increase EBIT & reduce waste)
Conduct Root Cause Analysis on welding defects to prevent reoccurrence
Monitoring of operators to maintain RFT product quality
Conduct RCA & investigate process improvement opportunities to eliminate defects & variation.
Liaise with Third party Inspectors and Customers
Ensure compliance to company procedures
Ensure HSE standards are maintained
Good understanding and application of our HPO behaviours for People, Environment and Performance

Qualified to CSWIP 3.1 Weld Inspection, experienced with ASME 1X Standards.
