The Company

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently recruiting a Commercial Management Accountant for a growing manufacturing firm based in Fife. Our client is looking for a newly qualified accountant/finalist to provide financial support to one of their key divisions. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants to further their accountancy career in what is a very commercially focused role.

The Role

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller the successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of monthly management account packs including KPI reports and commercial analysis for senior management. You will work closely with the operations managers on their financial planning and budgeting and will need to update and challenge them on their figures on a regular basis. Other areas of responsibility will include assisting the Group Financial Controller on areas such as year end stat reporting, VAT and tax issues, fixed assets and capital expenditure projects. Candidates will ideally be newly qualified (ICAS, CIMA, ACCA) or close to qualification and possess excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Previous experience of working in manufacturing, either directly or from an audit perspective, would be beneficial but is not essential.
