Bid Writer/ Administrator

Salary: £15,000

Location: Coatbridge

FPSG are currently seeking an Administrator with previous Bid or Tender Writing experience for our Facilities Management client based in Coatbridge. This role will require you to provide tender and bid writing assistance as well as administrative support. You will deal with any administrative tasks that may need attention and work closely with the sales team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Completion and submission of responses to calls for Requests for Information, PPQ's and tender documentation
  • Production of well-constructed, high quality bids and tender proposals meeting all documentation requirements.
  • Assist the Bid Team with liaising with sub contractors to gather adequate information
  • Assisting on all aspects of the sales process including general admin, quotation referencing and logging all information in database system.
  • Conducting market research on sector changes, industry information and competitor practices and produce report on monthly basis
  • Monitor public sector opportunities on industry portals ensuring no opportunities are missed.

  • Experience Required

  • Must have previous Bid or Tender writing experience
  • Must be highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Must be skilled in the use of internet based document management systems
  • Must be able to work to tight deadlines
