We have a exciting new opportunity for a Payroll Assistant.  This position will be for 18.5 hours per week and report to the Payroll Supervisor

As a Payroll Assistant what responsibilities will I have:

  • Manage the payroll process from start to finish
  • Process high volume payroll accurately and efficiently
  • Deal with payroll enquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist the payroll team in order to contribute to the acheivement of company strategy and objectives

As a Payroll Assistant what type of skills will I have:

  • Sound understanding of payroll legislation
  • Payroll experience desirable
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of industry standard packages (opera)
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and retain control when faced with dificulty
