We have a exciting new opportunity for a Payroll Assistant. This position will be for 18.5 hours per week and report to the Payroll Supervisor
As a Payroll Assistant what responsibilities will I have:
- Manage the payroll process from start to finish
- Process high volume payroll accurately and efficiently
- Deal with payroll enquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist the payroll team in order to contribute to the acheivement of company strategy and objectives
As a Payroll Assistant what type of skills will I have:
- Sound understanding of payroll legislation
- Payroll experience desirable
- PC literate with a working knowledge of industry standard packages (opera)
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and retain control when faced with dificulty
