Project Engineer Ayrshire North   £DOE

A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Project Engineer to join our client's successful and well established manufacturing organisation. Reporting to the Site Director, you will be responsible for managing the design, execution and validation phases of all capital projects to ensure adherence to project scope, budget and schedules.

Key responsibilities:

- Develop project justification and capital project proposals
- Organise and facilitate project meetings
- Manage the design phases of all capital projects to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Interface cross functionally and externally to ensure process harmonization is maintained
- Contribute to the improvement of PM standards and tools

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering coupled with extensive experience of managing complex capital projects within a fast paced manufacturing or engineering environment. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills as you will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have the ability to manage cross functional team and provide direction and support to ensure success of the projects. Strong problem solving skills are imperative. You will also be IT literate and be confident using packages such as MS project, word and excel. This role is initially on an interim basis for up to 1 year.
