>> Apply4homes is the Common Housing Register for Aberdeenshire and Moray. It is an innovative web-based system which will allow applicants not only to apply online but also to apply for up to eight landlords by completing just one application. We are seeking to recruit a CHR Assistant to help support both applicants and Housing Options Teams through the initial 12 month period of the project.

>> You are educated to Standard Grade level in English and Maths and have recent experience using MS office. As well as being able to create and maintain databases you also have a proven track record of working in a busy office environment, dealing directly with customers. You will be required to provide support to the designated Housing Options Teams, involved in working directly with applicants for housing. There may at times be a requirement to work from other office locations within Aberdeenshire.

Job Purpose


>> To assist in the provision of a comprehensive Housing Options Service to meet the Housing needs of applicants. To contribute to procedures in relation to the CHR from launch and ensure the successful upload of existing application onto the CHR.

Main Tasks

  • Oversee, the dataload process, including the de-duplication exercise, production and postage of initial letter, monitoring response of applicants and impact on partners
  • Administer the reminder process where existing applicants have failed to respond to the initial letter on behalf of all four management areas
  • Monitor the number of parked applications across the partnership
  • Working with and assisting the Policy Officer (Housing Options/CHR) to ensure the successful launch of the project across the partnership in the first 12 months of the project
