Financial Controller Grangemouth   £35000 - £40000 per annum

Eden Scott's client is a small to medium enterprise that is owner managed and looking for a financial controller due to the retirement of the current incumbent.

In this role you will be responsible for the management of the day to day operations of the finance function and have responsibility for 3 transactional level staff members. You will be responsible for both financial statements and management accounts. You will be expected to work with the owners and other senior managers on a day to day basis to produce accurate reports and forecasts and to play an active part in the development of the function and company.

You would be expected to contribute new ideas and methods for improving the reporting, driving down costs and playing an active role in improving the profitability of the business.

To be considered for this role you will be professionally qualified as an accountant, be qualified by experience or part-qualified but you will be able to clearly demonstrate experience in the above mentioned criteria. Candidates who have made significant contributions to the development of an owner managed SME will be considered with favour.
