Lochead Sandford Recruitment's client, a well established independent CA Firm, based in central Glasgow, seek to recruit someone experienced in payroll to take responsibility for the Firm's entire varied client payroll function - c 85 monthly/ weekly clients.
You will have responsibility for liaising and maintaining your own Clients, mainly small to medium owner managed businesses and all payroll aspects, SSP, PAYE returns, and ad hoc organisation of payments for clients employee salaries.
This is a varied role with the added interest of a diverse client portfolio to prepare payroll for rather than one Firm's employees, so requires someone with good interpersonal , organisational and time management skills.
*Use of Sage Payroll essential.
*This role may be considered on a 4 day basis and may also involve some client bookkeeping at a later stage, if desired, for an ideal person.

Some experience from another Accountancy Practice Firm or Payroll bureau or ability to show multi client payroll duties, is strongly preferred however other backgrounds will be considered.
