My client is a leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art electro-mechanical equipment for a global customer base. Due to continued investment and expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced Engineering Manager to head up their multi-disciplined engineering team of development, design and production engineers. Reporting to the Managing Director, your responsibilities will include:

- manage your team of engineers in the delivery of projects to time, cost, manufacturability and quality constraints - overall departmental planning and budgetary control - departmental workload resourcing - provide engineering support to internal/external departments including shop floor production management - provide technical guidance to your engineering team, the materials management function and Quality Assurance   To be given serious consideration for this role, you must have at least 10 years technical management experience in leading edge electro-mechanical equipment manufacturing environments. My client requires an engineer with real all-round knowledge of multiple areas of engineering including electro-mechanical systems, temperature control, sensors, motor controls, gas control systems or similar. It is expected you will be qualified to degree level in either Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with the ability to provide vision and technical leadership to a technical team.
