The Role

This is a busy role where it will be your responsibility will be to ensure that our managed vessels are supplied with authorised stores, spares and other products in a timely manner and within budget.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Inputting vessel and office requisitions to the company system     
• Selecting suppliers from approved suppliers lists and issuing orders
•  Coordinating the delivery of ship spares and stores ; progressing the orders onboard the vessel and resolving any discrepancies
• Checking and managing invoices and forwarding to the Accounts Department for payment

The Person

The ideal candidate will have previous knowledge and experience within a purchasing environment. Numerical accuracy and good oral communication skills are essential.
