My client is a global leader in software, hardware, and services that is driving the transformation of the electronic design automation (EDA) industry.

Due to continued expansion my client is looking for a talented Software Developer to help create their next-generation suite of world-class CAD tools, used by the biggest names in the electronics industry.

In this role you will be responsible for transforming customer requirements into object-oriented designs, then implementing these in C++, C, and my client’s own lisp-like scripting language. You shall ensure high quality results by unit testing and using a range of code analysis tools. Your work will range from self-contained, low-level components to highly-visible user interface features spanning several applications. You will also help to maintain legacy products, rapidly responding to customer bug reports and enhancement requests.

Based in the Livingston office near Edinburgh, the vibrant capital of Scotland, you will have excellent opportunities to share and grow your software development skills as part of our highly experienced local team, as well as collaborating with other colleagues across the globe.

Position Requirements:

• C++ Programming skills
• Electronics design experience
• BSc or MSc Degree in Software and/or Electrical Engineering
• Would Suit a recent graduate or someone with up to 2 years experience
