Account Manager EMEA (Market Leading Website) Edinburgh to £35K, + uncapped bonus (OTE £12K) + benefits associated with a market leading digital brand

Their international online product enhances and increases their client’s sales, providing marketing and information through a powerful media based solution. Due to continued expansion and ambitious future sales plans they currently require an Account Manager
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be responsible for effectively managing a range of existing key clients including Advertising Agencies and Key clients in Europe, Middle East and Africa. This role will involve sourcing, identifying and creating commercially viable opportunities, presenting innovative online display advertising solutions, CPC and CPA opportunities tailored to the client to ensure results and the optimum share of all budgets. You will be responsible for the development of these commercial partnerships and act as a single point of contact for all client communication. This involves managing, developing and nurturing these existing accounts, ensuring optimisation of revenue streams. You will ensure the activity on the website is implemented efficiently, monitoring and managing display advertising campaigns to guarantee the best results for customers and client satisfaction. You will have the support and back up of strong case studies, online presentation tools, metrics and marketing information to ensure sales success.
Ideally you will have experience of working in Online Media with a strong track record of selling online advertising /new media solutions from any sector to Advertising Agency or Travel Sector customers in the UK and/ or Europe, Middle East and Africa . You will have a understanding of search engines, portals and internet advertising.
Additional proficiency in at least one additional European language would be an advantage although not a prerequisite.
Alternatively you will require a experience of consultative solution selling media space any medium (i.e. radio, newspapers, magazines, outdoor, television, etc) to Advertising Agencies. You will have a strong understanding of the media and marketing, coupled with creativity, drive, motivation, entrepreneurial spirit and passion to develop new business opportunities in a competitive market. You will have a desire to forge a career in online media with an understanding of web based media. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels. You will be PC literate, creative, ambitious, articulate, proactive and quick thinking with the ability to develop long term relationships with a range of accounts.
