EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
POST: Supply Teacher
GRADE: Supply teachers will be placed on the following rates:
Duration of contract 1 to 5 days – placing will be point 1 of the salary scale for maximum of 5 hours per day
Duration of contract 6 days or more – placing on scale dependent on experience
LOCATION: Various
Applications are invited from teachers interested in being placed on our supply register to cover short term and longer fixed term placements in the nursery, primary and secondary sector.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ORIGINALS OF THE DOCUMENTATION NOTED ON THE ATTACHED CHECKLIST MUST BE PRESENTED TO CUSTOMER FIRST (COUNCIL HEADQUARTERS, GIFFNOCK) WITHIN 5 DAYS OF SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION AND ANY MISSING DOCUMENTATION WILL RESULT IN YOUR APPLICATION BEING DECLINED.
Please note that two signed references are also required and these must be received within 5 days of receipt of your application form, otherwise your application cannot be considered. Blank reference request forms are attached to the job pack for your convenience. References should be sent to:
