Essential Functions of position:

* Electrical/Control System design
* Software development
* Develop and apply Microcontroller programming
* Develop and apply GUI programming
* Read and understand project related AutoCad electrical drawings
* Write documents such as User Requirements, Functional Specifications, Detailed Design Specifications, etc.
* Conduct full functional and Factory Acceptance Testing
* Participate in and lead Startup and Commissioning of projects at the customer site
* Develop technical solutions and resolve project issues

Additional Responsibilities:

* Identify and resolve technical risks in assigned work
* Electrical control panel design
* Software Development
* Provide customer/internal technical support
* Define and monitor project scope and objectives
* Basic project management
* Problem solving and troubleshooting hardware/software

Requirements

-degree in electrical, electronic or software engineering
-Good knowledge of software development
-Good knowledge of electrical/electronic engineering particularly logic operations
-Logical thinker
-Understanding of Pulse Width Modulation to control power to loads

-Ability to analyse and solve difficult problems independently
-AUTOCAD knowledge
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Computer and networking skills
-Ability to work on multiple tasks and/or projects
-organisational skills
-Ability to establish and meet deadlines
