Work Location: Auchterderran Centre, Cardenden Salary: £29,208 - £32,400
The Child Protection Committee (CPC) seeks a capable and energetic individual who can support its aim to develop the work of the partnership in ensuring the safety of children in Fife and to continue our journey of improvement within the context of Getting it Right for Every Child.
Based in the Auchterderran Centre, Cardenden, you support the lead officer who co-ordinates the work of the CPC in its responsibility to ensure that all Fife children are safe and protected from harm.
The CPC aims to join the partnership of services in common purpose to:
- Continuously improve service delivery
- Develop and implement effective policies
- Use management information to inform improvement
- Promote good practice, train and develop staff
- Involve and communicate with children, young people and their families
You should have knowledge and skills relating to child protection and the wider children’s service agenda including GIRFEC and Corporate Parenting and be capable of assimilating and presenting complex information. Successful experience in the field of services for children will be required and be educated to degree level..
